We honestly didn’t think we’d be saying this so soon.
When Craig first came up with the idea for Gopher Caddy, we knew he was onto something. What started as frustration with the clunky sand buckets on golf carts turned into years of designing, testing, tweaking and trying to create a better way to carry sand and fix divots.
Fast forward to today, and here we are, nearly sold out of our very first shipment - we have 6 LEFT
Well, this is a little embarrassing. 😂
From a garage full of boxes to nearly sold out
Getting Gopher Caddy off the ground has been a journey.
There were years of product development, plenty of prototypes, lots of problem-solving and, eventually, plenty of boxes arriving on our doorstep.
Those first boxes took over our garage, our storage space and probably a little more of our sanity than we'd like to admit.
We launched the website, started sharing Gopher with the golfing community and slowly began getting our product out into the world.
And now, we're nearly out of stock.
We knew we wanted to create something golfers would find genuinely useful. We just didn't expect to reach this milestone quite so soon.
More than just a sand carrier
For us, Gopher Caddy has always been about more than carrying sand.
It's about making course care easier. It's about creating a product that fits naturally into the way you play, whether you're walking the course, pushing a pull cart or riding in a cart.
Most importantly, it's about doing our bit to look after the courses we love and the people we share them with.
Every order, every message, every photo from the course and every recommendation to a golf mate has helped us get here.
We're a small, family-run business, so none of it goes unnoticed.

We're excited about what's ahead. There's plenty more to learn, plenty of golfers yet to meet and lots of ways we want to keep making course care easier.
For now, we're taking a moment to appreciate how far we've come, from an idea and a garage full of boxes to nearly selling out our first shipment.
Not bad for a little idea born on the golf course.
