Craig isn’t a tour pro.
He’s an everyday golfer who loves walking 18.
Like most carry-bag golfers, he dealt with the same frustration round after round:

One day his mate Tom looked at him mid-round and said:

Designed During COVID – Built by a Golfer With a Product Design Background
During COVID, with a newborn at home and more walking rounds squeezed in, Craig decided to solve the problem properly.
With a background in product design, he knew:

For years, Craig worked through multiple prototypes — refining:

2024 – All In on an Australian Golf Startup
In 2024, after welcoming their second child, the first full production run of Gopher Caddy arrived.
Straight into the garage.
Home gym? Gone.
Car space? Gone.
Savings? Invested.
We were officially all in.
As a small Australian business, launching a new golf product meant risk — but we believed golfers deserved a better, more practical divot repair solution.
From Maternity Leave to Online Launch
Alyce, Co-founder and Craig's other half was on maternity leave.
Which meant she built the website.
